It is truly a blessing to work with such wonderful people. I have taught many terrific kids over the past many years. I am thankful for all the families that have allowed me to be a part of the lives of their children. My wife teases me because I always get a little sad each June. I am losing another group of "my kids". I will miss this years class as I have missed every class, but I look forward to the challenges of another group in the fall. Thanks colleagues, families, and "my kids" for all the joy you have added to my life. It is an honor to know you! Our family has been a part of the district for 15 years! How time flies. With the help and dedication of our teachers and staff in every building we have watched our son grow and mature into a very healthy, happy young adult with goals and dreams for his future. This is our last year with a child in the district as our son will graduate on June 9!! I really never thought this day would come. With the support, guidance and communication of every teacher, counselor and staff member involved with our family from pre-school through today, the light at the end of the tunnel becomes brighter everyday. We have many awesome role models in the Fife School District. Thank you for caring for and about our kids as if they are your own. :) You all have a very special place in our hearts! My son came home last week with a mother's day project and he needed to ask me several questions. One of the questions was: What is the greatest joy you get from being a mom? My reply: Watching my children grow up to be good, responsible and successful people. This cannot be done alone.
