The week of May 4-8 is designated as National Teacher Appreciation Week. We not only appreciate the fabulous teaching staff throughout our district but are grateful for the amazing work they do each and every day. Please leave them a message of encouragement and thanks; we believe we truly have the best of the best right here in Fife Public Schools!

I am grateful to our teachers at the Fife Schools, for all that you do for our children and our district. You give so much and you are a blessing for our children. You teach, you inspire and you reach. You motivate, you grow and you suceed. I admire you for all that you have done to inspire our children, for you teachers at FIfe are Number One. Thank you.

I have 34 years of reasons, based on facts, collected during school days, before dawn, almost midnight, on and off campuses, school year and holidays to know that the best kind of people come to be teachers, speech therapists, counselors, school psychologists, interventionists and librarians.
I love being your colleague. Our work together, in supporting children, fills my days with excitment, satisfaction, brain bending activity, tears and glee! Among you are the most compassionate, creative, demanding, affirming, selfless, flexible, resourceful, engaging, skilled and smart people on the planet! Attached to every one of you are stories that demonstrate the above characteristics over and over. Some of the stories are very public, some of the stories are only known to the those quietly touched by your advocacy on behalf of them. You are my friends, my inspiration, my consternation, my support system, my professional journey life companions. What a trip!
Thanks to all teachers in the FSD. You enrich the lives of so many and I am very proud to work with you. You guys & gals are the best!

THANK YOU FIFE TEACHERS! Our family has been in the Fife School District for nine years and in that nine years twenty six teachers have directly taught our two children. Each teacher with their own wonderful skills and abilities. Each one with their own passion to affect the lives of each student in their classrooms. Each one committed to teaching as a career and as a means to affect our world one mind at a time. Each one of them have blessed our family for a lifetime. These are the teachers whom have touched the lives of our two children: Mrs. Barker, Mrs. Berger, Mrs. Willden, Mr. Ritzen, Mrs. Merdian, Mrs. Webley, Mrs. Wood, Mr. Holmquist, Mrs. Sawers, Mr. Tillinghast, Mr. Adams, Mr. Rivera , Mrs. Morton, Mrs. Clark, Mr. Tiegs, Mr. Holm, Mr. Hollis, Mr. Darnielle, Mrs. Butler, Mrs. Millen, Mr. Garrett, Ms. Satterlee, Mr. Herrington, Mrs. Craig, Mr. Briggs, Dr. Kassner. Add to them all the specialist, the principals, and the administrative staff and each of the three school our children have attended. And then add all the district staff. A spectacular array of professionals. Fife School District is the best.
Without a doubt the most professional, innovative, personal, effective, and engaging group I have had the opportunity to be in education with. Each year you all just get better and better. Even during these hard times we can all work toward the positive goal of educating kids. I can always say I am proud to be in the Fife educational community. Enjoy a great week and the few weeks we have left. You all deserve the best for what you do.

THANK YOU to all Fife teachers of my childrens’ past, present and future! You are a blessing to our family and I feel so fortunate to have such wonderful people enriching their lives.
My son came home last week with a mother’s day project and he needed to ask me several questions. One of the questions was: What is the greatest joy you get from being a mom? My reply: Watching my children grow up to be good, responsible and successful people.
This cannot be done alone. It is made possible by their surroundings, and that is you, all Fife School District Employees!

A huge thank you to all of our teachers in Fife. Our family has been a part of the district for 15 years! How time flies. With the help and dedication of our teachers and staff in every building we have watched our son grow and mature into a very healthy, happy young adult with goals and dreams for his future.
This is our last year with a child in the district as our son will graduate on June 9!! I really never thought this day would come. With the support, guidance and communication of every teacher, counselor and staff member involved with our family from pre-school through today, the light at the end of the tunnel becomes brighter everyday.
We have many awesome role models in the Fife School District. Thank you for caring for and about our kids as if they are your own.
You all have a very special place in our hearts!

I would like to express my appreciation for the great staff and wonderful families of the Fife School District. It is truly a blessing to work with such wonderful people. I have taught many terrific kids over the past many years. I am thankful for all the families that have allowed me to be a part of the lives of their children. My wife teases me because I always get a little sad each June. I am losing another group of “my kids”. I will miss this years class as I have missed every class, but I look forward to the challenges of another group in the fall. Thanks colleagues, families, and “my kids” for all the joy you have added to my life. It is an honor to know you!
