    Equally as important …”beside” and supporting your teaching partners or administrators with advice, nudges, cheers, ears and winks at all the right times.

    To all Classified Employees of the Fife School District with special recognition to the ones that make my job at Discovery better. You are a very important part of the team that educates our children, whether you drive a bus, provide meals, cover recess/lunch duty, clean up after us or assist in classrooms, we couldn’t do it as well without you. As the saying goes, “It takes an entire village to raise a child”.
    I have to give an extra big thank you to the classified employee that I work with daily in the Library Den, Lynnette Crout. Without her the Library Den woulnn’t operate as smoothly as it does! I truly appreciate everything you bring to your duties in the Den! You are the best!

    I have had the privilege of working in the Fife District for a long time and am very proud of what our schools look and feel like. I always get comments about how our grounds, buildings and atmosphere make “outsiders” feel when they drive by or come in for something. That first impression is one generated by ALL of you well before they see any of us. I don’t think our jobs would be what they are without the work YOU do. THANKS for everything.

    Wow… where do I start? From the bus drivers and aides that deliver students to the school, to the food services staff who prepare special meals for some of our students, to the classroom staff and therapy assistants who support and deliver instruction… Add in the playground assistants and crossing guards that keep our kids safe… Maintenance and grounds who do everything from build a lifeskills classroom where there used to be an empty portable to keeping the rooms sanitary and safe, to giving kids support and meaningful work as they work on the grounds and buildings with you… Sprinkle in the tech staff who keep the networks running and allow us to take for granted the tools we use every day…And cap it all off with the office staff who help run the buildings and programs and make life manageable for everbody else… we couldn’t serve our kids without you. My most sincere thanks to the classified staff for the exceptional work that you do every day.

    Discovery Primary School’s classified staff members are an incredibly hardworking professional team. They are the first people our students come in contact with each morning and the last people they see before leaving us in the afternoon. Each and every classified employee at Discovery has a “can do” attitude. They work together to help out wherever needed and the students benefit from their care, attention, and incredible skill. Thank you to our educational assistants, kitchen staff, bus drivers, and office staff. We are so lucky to have you here.
